ST GEORGE ISLAND, FLORIDA


Discover St. George Island, a 22-mile barrier island boasting some of the Gulf Coast's most exquisite and tranquil beaches. Lighthouse and History: Visit the historic Cape St. George Lighthouse, which has been relocated due to beach erosion. Learn about the island's maritime history and enjoy panoramic views from the top after climbing its steps.  There is a small play area and restrooms located at the rear of the facility.  

Pristine Beaches: Explore 22 miles of unspoiled, white-sand beaches along the Gulf Coast. These beaches are perfect for sunbathing, swimming in clear waters, shelling, and long walks along the shore.


Outdoor Activities
: If you enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing (both offshore and in the bay), kayaking, paddleboarding, and biking. The island's natural beauty provides ample opportunities for wildlife viewing and birdwatching in its marshes and coastal habitats.

These are Portuguese man-of-war and they were all over the beach.  Do NOT touch them!
