The Fruit and Spice Park in Homestead, Florida, is a one-of-a-kind botanical garden featuring over 500 species of tropical fruits, nuts, herbs, and spices from around the world.


HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FRUIT AND SPICE PARK

Unique Tropical Fruit Collection

The park is home to over 180 varieties of mangoes, 70 types of bananas, 40 kinds of grapes, and exotic fruits like jackfruit, sapodilla, lychee, and canistel. Many of these fruits are not commonly found in grocery stores, making this a paradise for fruit lovers.


 Spice Garden & Medicinal Plants

Visitors can explore a variety of spices, including vanilla, cinnamon, allspice, and black pepper, as well as herbs and medicinal plants used in traditional remedies.


Guided Tram Tours

The park offers a guided tram tour included with admission, providing expert insights into the different plants and their uses. This is a great way to explore the park while learning from knowledgeable guides.


Seasonal Fruit Tastings

While picking fruit from trees is not allowed, guests can sample freshly fallen fruit at the designated tasting table in the Welcome Center. This gives visitors the opportunity to try rare and exotic flavors.


Butterfly & Pollinator Garden

A special area of the park is dedicated to plants that attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, making it a beautiful and educational spot for nature lovers.


Bamboo & Tropical Hardwood Collections

The park also features a variety of bamboo species and tropical hardwood trees, including mahogany and teak, which are important in various cultures and industries.

10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
No admission is allowed after 4 p.m.
Park is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
