PACKING CLOTHING FOR A WEEK IN EUROPE IN A SMALL CARRY-ON

The secret to packing everything in a small, tiny, itty bitty suitcase is to only carry what the basics of what you need.  Seems simple but for me, leaving behind things I may possibly need is hard.

The easiest part of the packing for me is the clothing.  That's because I learned a hard less on my first trip to Europe.  The one where I spent two weeks traveling to seven countries without my luggage. You can read about that trip HERE.

If you create a capsule wardrobe, you can mix and match pieces that can be combined into a variety of outfits. Want to make choosing clothing even easier? Decide what you are going to wear each day and you will not over pack by even a single item.

If you plan to shop for clothing while on vacation, you may want to pack even less. Do you like to buy tourist tee shirts from the places you visit? Leave a shirt or two at home. You won't need them.

Need a place to start with your clothing list? Begin with a few core pieces such as a pair of jeans in neutral colors in black, blue, khaki, or gray. This will allow you to mix and match tops and then you can add a few accessories for a pop of color.

TIP:  Get on Pinterest and search for capsule wardrobe or packing for a week in ? for a week, month, or year.  You will find a ton of information.
