MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK, COST RICA

Manuel Antonio is one of those places in Costa Rica that is hard to forget. Our family has visited the area, and my daughter has explored it as well, so these photos bring back some great memories of this beautiful part of the country.

Located along Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast, Manuel Antonio is known for its combination of lush rainforest, beautiful beaches, and abundant wildlife. The park and surrounding area offer opportunities to see monkeys, sloths, iguanas, colorful birds, and other wildlife while exploring the tropical forest.

One of the things that makes Manuel Antonio so special is the way the rainforest meets the coastline. Trails wind through the forest and lead to beautiful viewpoints and beaches, making it possible to combine a little hiking and wildlife watching with time on the beach.

There are other beautiful beaches near the park.  The pics below are of a beach  just outside Manuel Antonio.  It was beautiful and we had a blast taking photos of the group.

Exploring Manuel Antonio

My daughter captured many of these photos during her visit, including some of the wildlife and scenery around the park. The beaches just outside Manuel Antonio are beautiful as well, and she shared these photos from a fun day spent enjoying the area with her group.

Whether you visit for the wildlife, the beaches, or simply the incredible scenery, Manuel Antonio is a destination that deserves a place on a Costa Rica itinerary.

Here are some of our photos from Manuel Antonio and the surrounding area.
