SORENTO, ITALY

SORENTO, ITLAY
The last stop on our trip to the Amalfi Coast was Sorrento, Italy.  Our driver let us out  in the middle of town and our small group had a nice lunch at a quaint little restaurant.

The best spot to start your shopping experience in Sorrento is right in the heart of town in Piazza Tasso. This large piazza is one of the busiest and most popular areas in Sorrento.

Sorrento is famous for the production of limoncello, made from lemon rinds, alcohol, water and sugar. Other agricultural production includes citrus fruit, wine, nuts and olives.

Speaking of shopping, here is another Antica Sartoria store.  I love, love, love the clothing. This store was a little larger than then ones we visited in Positano, Italy and it had this amazing creamy yellow car inside the store.

I had to stop and take a picture of this cigarette dispenser on the sidewalk.  I haven't seen one since I was in high school and my daughter had never seen one. I was surprised at the number of Italians that were smoking and there were ashtrays on every table at the restaurants we visited.  They don't have the same regrulations we do when it comes to smoking and we saw many young people smoking across Europe.

Just look at the flavors of gellato that this place has to offer.
