National Art Museum of Catalonia

I had never heard about this museum before stumbling upon it while touring the city.  I have read that it is not usually listed in the top attractions to visit but I think the view is spectacular.

We didn't go inside of the National Art Museum of Catalonia but we did walk up many, many steps to reach the entrance.

If you want to learn more about the Catalan culture, it is a must see.  It has collections that span over a thousand years, from medieval churches to Gaudi.

More of those steps that I was talking about.

View from the top

We stopped to watch this group of you people dancing while being filmed.

If you arrive by bus, you will stop in this location.  You will see this scene to your right and the  National Art Museum of Catalonia.
