You can usually find cheap flights to Europe but right now, there are many countries you can fly to for under $350.
The closest large airport to me is Dallas, Texas. As of the writing of this post, flights to Finland for $304, Belgium $306, Switzerland for $309, and Denmark for $313. All of these prices were found on SKYSCANNER.
My friends and I want to plan a trip to Sintra, Portugal. Flights to Lisbon, Portugal for my desired date is $882. Flights to Barcelona are around $350 so we will fly into Barcelona and take a train or plane to Lisbon for $50-$100 round trip.
The price difference will pay for my lodging keeping the cost low.
