HIGHLIGHTS OF ST ANDREWS STATE PARK

A Coastal Sanctuary

As you step onto the soft, powdery sands of St. Andrews State Park, the stresses of everyday life melt away. The park stretches across more than 1,200 acres, encompassing a diverse landscape of dunes, pine forests, and salt marshes.

Besides boasting a mile-and-a-half of pristine beaches for fishing and swimming, St. Andrews also offers the chance for visitors to stroll through pines and along dunes and coastal plant communities or stay overnight in the campground.

Activities for Every Adventurer

Whether you're an avid hiker, water sports enthusiast, or simply seeking a tranquil spot to unwind, St. Andrews has something for everyone. You can hike on one of the park's scenic trails, where you might spot playful dolphins dancing in the surf or majestic seabirds gliding overhead.

St. Andrews is a photographer's paradise. Several photographers had set up in the marsh area, armed with their drool-worthy cameras, eagerly waiting to capture the majestic birds or one of the many alligators basking on the banks.

There are two fishing piers, a jetty, and a boat ramp which allows opportunities for anglers.   There is also a store which offers snacks, souvenirs, and fishing amenities.

Underwater Wonders

Snorkelers and divers can explore artificial reefs teeming with colorful marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles, and even the occasional friendly manatee. With visibility often exceeding 50 feet, every dive promises an unforgettable adventure into the heart of Florida's aquatic treasures.
