BAY HARBOR & COCONUT BAY RESORT - KEY LARGO

 

Bay Harbor Lodge and Coconut Bay Resort is a small cozy bay front resort situated on 2.5 acres of lush tropical foliage. This resort is gorgeous, with phenomenal landscaping, adorable updated and very clean cottages right on the bay.

Your stay includes the use of  kayaks and paddleboards which we took advantage of during our stay.  There is also a dock and lounging are to enjoy some of the most amazing sunsets you will ever see.  At night, a crowd gathered on the docks in hushed silence watching the beautiful array of oranges and pinks as the evening closed.

 My favorite part of my stay, outside of the view, is the morning scones and coffee. I sat on our personal patio and table sad to be leaving this beautiful place.

We had a little squirrel that hung out by our door and followed us around everywhere. After chatting with another guest, we learned that the squirrels were accustomed to being fed by visitors.  One gentleman had purchased a bag of almonds and was surrounded by a crowd of squirrels!
