Scrapbook of my European Vacation

It took me over a year to complete this photo book.  I used to purchase albums, paper, stickers, and all of the other paraphernalia that goes along with scrapbooking but the cost had become overwhelming.  I decided to do digital scrapbooking and started researching publishing companies. Mixbook had the best reviews and what I thought was the most professional looking finished product.

A Perfectly Unplanned Day in Toulon, France

Toulon, France, was the third stop on our cruise, and it turned out to be one of those days that didn't go quite as planned.

We left the ship with a guidebook in hand and a plan to explore Toulon on our own. We walked to the bus stop and looked for the bus number our guidebook told us to take. The problem? There was no such bus number.

Èze Village: A Medieval Gem on the French Riviera

One of the most memorable stops on our European cruise was a place I had never heard of before the trip.

On the second day of our cruise, we docked in Monaco. My daughter had chosen to spend part of our day visiting Èze Village, France, and I'll admit that I didn't have much of an opinion about it.

I had done absolutely no research.

I simply trusted her and I'm so glad I did.
