Narrows Recreation Area is located on the south side of Lake Travis. It is for day use only and there is virtually no shade so be prepared if you go in the summer months.
There is not much to see but I did enjoy photographing the landscape. If you are short on time, I suggest you skip this area and head straight to Krause Springs. It's worth the drive and you will want to spend most of your time there. You can check out my entire post on Krause Springs HERE.
DIRECTIONS
From 71, take a right onto Spur 191 at the Exxon and follow that road until it becomes CR 410, which will take you to the entrance.
TO KNOW
There really isn't much to do. Be prepared for no shade and make sure you have water with you.
