Once we decided to stay in Galveston the first night of our Texas Roadtrip, we started searching for a place to stay. Since we had a very tight budget, we searched for the most inexpensive hotels we could find near the beach.
After reading a lot of reviews, we decided to stay at this Days Inn. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The bedding was comfortable and the rooms were well cooled. The room also had a small refrigerator and microwave.
Love this so much better than the nasty carpet.
Every room had a balcony that doesn't look over the beach but you can see the ocean if you tilt your head just right.
The restrooms are nice and update but there was no tub. Just a nice roomy shower.
Of course, my grandson thought the shower was the perfect size since it was so easy for him to get into.

My thoughts on the hotel:
The rooms were spacious, clean, and updated. The best part is that there was no nasty carpet in the room which is important when you are going to have a baby crawling on the floor. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the breakfast was your standard continental breakfast.
I plan to stay at this hotel on any return trips to Galveston. I will mention that the hotel is not on the main road so watch for the sign. It's about a block from the beach though still an easy walking distance.
