DUBLIN, IRELAND

Our plane landed in Ireland and we stood waiting at the carousel for our luggage that never arrived.  The first day of our 16 day vacation and we had no luggage.

The two ladies at the airport we so sweet and gave us each a kit with t-shirt, toothpaste, and deodorant.  We finally left the airport in a taxi and arrived at the place we were staying for the night, Dublin Airport Manor.

We had made reservations at the Celtic Lodge in downtown Dublin.  The cost was €50 and they would shuttle you from the airport to the lodge and would pick you up the next morning and carry you back to the airport free.

Dublin Airport Manor, Dublin, Ireland

When my daughter and I were looking for a place to stay when we landed in Ireland, we chose the Dublin Airport Manor.  We were  only staying one night and needed  to be at the airport at 5:00 the next morning so we were looking for someplace near the airport.  We read several great reviews about the place and the price was great at  €44.
The website states that it is 5 minutes from the airport.  I think our taxi driver must have taken a longer route because it took us about 12 minutes to get there and cost us €15.  We ended up arriving early in the morning instead of our 2:00 pm planned arrival because our airline cancelled one our flights.  We also explained that our luggage had been lost in transit and we had no clothing with us.

Scrapbook of my European Vacation

My photo/ scrapbook from our European vacation.:

It took me over a year to complete this photo book.  I used to purchase albums, paper, stickers, and all of the other paraphernalia that goes along with scrapbooking but the cost had become overwhelming.  I decided to do digital scrapbooking and started researching publishing companies. Mixbook had the best reviews and what I thought was the most professional looking finished product.
