My daughter and I spent spring break in Orlando and domestic tickets have been super cheap during Covid. Currently there are tickets available from Dallas to Orlando for around $34 round trip.
I was not sure what to expect since I have not flown in the past year. Especially when dealing with a budget airline like Spirit.
As for cleanliness, the airplane was spotless but the plane was full. There was no social distancing on the plane or in the airport but all passengers were required to wear mask at all times on both the plane and in the airport.
To be honest, the hardest part of the trip was finding luggage that meets Spirit's personal item specification. At this time the size is 18x14x8 inches.
Spirit baggage fees
