HIGHLIGHTS OF VISITING THREE SISTERS SPRINGS
Manatees: During the winter months, Three Sisters Springs becomes a haven for manatees seeking warmer waters. You can often see these gentle giants up close, swimming gracefully or resting near the springs.
Snorkeling: The clear waters make snorkeling a popular activity here. You can observe underwater life, including fish and vegetation, in their natural habitat.
Kayaking and Paddleboarding: Exploring the springs by kayak or paddleboard is another popular option, allowing you to navigate the waters and explore different parts of the area.
Scenic Beauty: The springs are surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful scenery. It's a great place for photography and simply taking in the natural beauty of Florida. There are boardwalks and trails around the springs, offering opportunities for leisurely walks or hikes amidst nature. These paths also provide different vantage points for viewing wildlife.
Let me start by saying that Three Sisters Springs is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. The water was stunning and watching the manatees swim was a highlight of the road trip. If you would like to visit, there are several things you need to know.
