HARBOUR MASTER INN - CEDAR KEY, FLORIDA
We spent a night at the Harbour Inn in Cedar Key, and while the building is older and lacks the polish of some more upscale accommodations, it offered a unique charm that made our stay truly enjoyable. It was one of the most distinctive places I've ever stayed, and I found it thoroughly delightful.

You'll need to drive to the western terminus of state road 24 to reach it, and there isn't much to catch your eye along the journey. Surrounded by federally protected land, Cedar Key lies far from the usual tourist routes, which may enhance its allure; reaching here requires a genuine desire to experience it.
